  • Overview

    The Director of Finance & Treasury is responsible for credit and cash management, cash forecasting, bank relations, and communicating with the VP & Controller and CFO to present current state, risk identification, investment policy, and investment opportunities. The Director also oversees Accounts Receivable and Payable processes, including check runs, general and sub ledger transactions, work order revenue, expense reports, and cash transactions.


    • Review short term, high yield, and low-risk assessments on a quarterly basis; take a cash position and forecast the yield for budget purposes
    • Coordinate debt financing transactions, including negotiations and management of new financing deals, refinancing actions, and existing debt administration requirements
    • Forecast cash to anticipate significant cash needs
    • Enhance controls and efficiencies of treasury/cash management and recommend new banking/cash management technologies
    • Communicate with credit rating organizations to monitor TRIMEDX credit score
    • Oversee the monitoring of expense reports, credit card statements, and credit card usage for appropriateness of expenditures; reconcile expense reports to credit card reports
    • Establish and monitor credit ratings for worthiness and ability to pay; correlate TRIMEDX numbers with credit collection agency
    • Look at interest rate yield rates and economic forecasts to analyze and predict outcomes
    • Responsible for day to day operations of AR and AP teams and provides strategic direction
    • Ensure invoices are processed accurately, timely, and completely with proper authorizationOversee AR department tasks such as invoice generation, work order revenues, collections, and cash applications
    • Set priorities, expectations, and criteria for collection policies; adjust payment schedule for change in personnel and for new or updated design software tools
    • Strategize payment timelines to collect maximum interest


    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field required; MBA, CPA and/or CTP or CTM preferred
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance of which 5 years is supervisory experience
    • Experience in cash management, debt management, and AP/AR
    • Knowledge of investment principles required
    • Knowledge of the healthcare and/or biomedical equipment industry preferred 
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Great Plains, and Management Reporter preferred
    • Thorough understanding of Excel analysis and processing techniques required
    • Strategic thinking, leadership, and management skills
    • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Analytical thinking skills to perform financial analysis and develop accurate conclusions 
    • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication
