  • Overview

    The Implementation Manager I is responsible for leading and owning the implementation of new customers to the TRIMEDX clinical engineering service program.  This position is responsible for all aspects of implementation services, including integrated service planning, validation, resource assessment, project planning, information system conversion, training coordination, all customer facing communications, service contract analysis coordination, coordination of all internal TRIMEDX business units involved in new customer implementations to ensure a timely and effective start-up of the TRIMEDX clinical engineering service programs.  The position also requires constant interaction and coordination through the Key Account Managers, where appropriate.  This position plays a secondary role leading and participating in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.  Significant travel and schedule flexibility are mandatory to effectively participate during all aspects of service implementation, including inventory validation and all on-site customer interactions. 


    New Customer Implementation (90%)

    • Assemble and direct cross-functional teams to develop and implement client-specific clinical engineering service programs
    • Facilitate all customer facing implementation meetings, startup meetings and continuing education to the TRIMEDX program for the clinical and administrative staff within new client sites
    • Meet with clients to evaluate program current state and identify implementation needs and site-specific objectives
    • Effectively create and manage timeline for each implementation task (Inventory Validation, Planning Preparation, Customer Conference Calls, Orientation Coordination, Go-Live for RSQ, Client Experience Center, ISP validation, resource planning, service contract analysis and internal coordination of all business units)
    • Convert site from existing program to TRIMEDX Medical Equipment Management program (policies, MEMP, service documentation process, EOC reporting process, etc.)
    • Manage all aspects of the contract reconciliation process for all new customers

    Special Projects and Initiatives (10%)

    • Serve as project manager or project participant on corporate-wide continuous improvements initiatives and cross-functional projects
    • Work on special continuous improvement projects


    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in a related field required
    • MBA preferred
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer facing operations support role
    • Previous experience with continuous improvement, lean, or six sigma initiatives
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating in an industry such as hospital and medical equipment
    • PMP or other project management certifications preferred


    • Project management skills including coordination, communication and adherence to budget and completion goals, prioritization and troubleshooting
    • Demonstrated knowledge of hospital and medical equipment industry
    • Demonstrated knowledge of processes and procedures related to equipment service management
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Joint Commission and other equipment-related regulations
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office and service management software
    • Strong customer relationship skills; including strong written, verbal and presentational communication skills
    • Strong Management skills and action orientation
    • Ability to build quick rapport and credibility with all levels of personnel including healthcare executives and leadership
    • Ability to gather and analyze information and implement solutions
    • Ability to deal effectively with diverse roles, backgrounds and expectations
    • Ability to demonstrate the TRIMEDX core values through all work activities
    • Ability to influence others into action
