  • Overview

    The Manager of Talent Acquisition leads recruiting strategies and programs on behalf of TRIMEDX. The role executes on talent acquisition strategies, building programs to support proactive actions for identifying and engaging with industry talent.  Additionally, the role provides vision and direction for strategic sourcing pipelines. The Manager of Talent Acquisition looks to leverage processes, systems, resources and best practices in order to optimize the candidate and hiring manager experience.   This position leads a team of Talent Acquisition Consultants. 


    Staffing and Selection (35%)

    • Provide leadership and guidance to the Talent Acquisition Consultants to achieve goals and metrics as defined by the organizational and departmental objectives.
    • Consult hiring managers in the planning, approval, and implementation of staffing projections
    • Collaborate with hiring managers during the full recruitment cycle to execute talent acquisition strategies: recruitment, sourcing, screening, tracking, interviewing, and hiring
    • Serve as a consultant and business advocate to hiring managers during selection process to make hiring recommendations based on interviews, assessment data, and candidate qualifications.

    Strategic Sourcing Pipeline Development (25%)

    • Identify sourcing pipelines and define robust sourcing strategies using a variety of methods (e.g. networking, referrals, ads, internet sourcing, agencies)
    • Develop and cultivate relationships with identified technical institutes, universities, and the military to build partnerships and brand TRIMEDX
    • Identify, select and establish relationships with third party vendors for unique and hard to fill positions.

    Program Management (40%)

    • Design, manage, and implement College Recruiting Program; build relationships with key universities in defined markets
    • Manage TRIMEDX Referral Program (SOAR)
    • Other Talent Acquisition projects as assigned


    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required
    • PHR or SPHR preferred
    • Minimum 10 years in an HR environment of which at least 3 years is in talent acquisition
    • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience
    • Experience recruiting both professionals and technically skilled positions preferred


    • Working knowledge of other Human Resources functions, such as compensation, benefits, human resources policies, etc. preferred
    • Eye for talent and the ability to exercise quick, solid people judgment and accurate decision making
    • Expert in competency-based interviewing techniques and methodologies
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
    • Ability to work with executive level management
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and programs
    • Ability to work effectively with other team members
    • Eye for talent and the ability to exercise quick, solid people judgment
    • Strategic thinking and leadership skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and interview skills
    • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to facilitate dialogue
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
