  • Overview

    The Business Analyst collaborates with the business and IS team in support of solution development, system support, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Business Analyst facilitates and documents project scope, business processes, researches and addresses system related questions, and actively validates solution enhancements that are rolled out to the organization. This position serves as a liaison between various business and technology key stakeholders for the purpose of ensuring business processes, informational needs and technology needs are properly documented, communicated, validated so proposed solutions can be Architected. The Business Analyst coordinates quality assurance testing to ensure documented business processes are technologically enabled through proposed solutions. In a support capacity this associate is responsible for supporting major business value streams, identifies opportunities for improvement, performs root cause analysis on issues and insures issues are resolved.


    • Work with key stakeholders and scrum teams to ensure business requirements are clarified
    • Ensure that the final design and delivered enhancements meet the business requirements
    • Develop and implement documentation and assist in the development of documentation including test plans and end user procedures
    • Participate in program meetings, PI planning sessions, feature definition sessions and scrum and triage meetings as needed
    • In collaboration with RTE and Product Management, participate in ranking, maintaining, and communicating Business Epics/ Capabilities/Features
    • Ability to create process flows and wireframes in order to clearly communicate a set of requirements


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience; information systems or computer related degree preferred.
    • 2+ years of relevant experience (project management, business analysis)
    • 1-2 years of experience with Scrum & how Agile development teams execute on Agile projects
    • SAFe experience is a plus
    • Ability to guide the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and values
    • Ability to process and manage multiple priorities and initiatives
    • Robust analytical skills; Ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems
    • Excellent communication (written and oral), customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to effectively interface with varied levels across business units/partner teams to communicate and collaborate on business solutions
    • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, user stories, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
    • Participate in refining Epics (Features) and defining acceptance criteria
    • Strong attention to detail and a rigorous focus on delivering quality output
    • Participate in the user acceptance process to validate the solution (feature level validation)
    • Ability to understand the big picture and relationships of each capability to the others across the program
    • Agile tool experience required
    • Service Now experience a plus
