The Training Specialist provides training for new and existing technicians and managers on the TRIMEDX clinical engineering maintenance and inventory system known as RSQM, run on the ServiceNow cloud platform, and other business systems as needed.  This training will be delivered in classroom settings, field-based medical environments and webinars.  Additional responsibilities include managing project plans, collecting and assisting with training content design and development, establishing relationships with other internal stakeholders and departments.  This position requires frequent interaction with IT development, operational and compliance management and potentially require up to 30% travel.


  • Facilitate classroom and web based learning on business systems for field associates and customer implementations
  • Work with operations leadership to establish and/or modify training objectives
  • Gather feedback on training effectiveness to identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities
  • Lead regular training sessions scheduled monthly to ensure training opportunities meet the needs and demands of operations
  • Assist with technician assessments, develop action plans, and deliver remedial training
  • Utilize system reports to identify incorrect patterns of system use by technicians; use this data and partner with operations leadership to develop training plans
  • Build relationships with other internal departments that are dependent on training results and outcomes
  • Assist with managing Training project plans
  • Assist with the development and enhancements to training content based on IT development, Policies and Procedures and field feedback
  • Assist with content development and training delivery for business systems enhancements (job aids, presentations, user guides)
  • Participate in IT development Agile sprints, requirements gathering, and feature prioritization meetings
  • Lead or participate in key initiative projects as defined by Manager of Talent Development


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years of experience delivering software/application training (healthcare, database or technical systems in services industry preferred)
  • Experience leading/.managing training initiatives required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required including Access, Visio, Project, Word, and Excel; Adobe experience helpful
  • Ability to create and manage a project plan as well as prioritize and balance multiple projects
  • Familiarity with Agile or SAFe Agile software development methodology a plus, but not required
  • Experience in Instructional Design using educational multimedia production software such as Articluate360, GoAnimate and Camtasia
  • Ability to establish and manage relationships
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer software
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills 
  • Ability to demonstrate confidence and inspire/motivate others to perform well
  • Experience with web-base conferencing such as Adobe Connect, WebEx or GoToMeeting
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time required
