The Solutions (“Product”) Development Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, development and iteration of solutions that fall within TRIMEDX’s Clinical Asset Management business based on identified client needs, TRIMEDX Operations, and/or Solutions Marketing. Activities will include, but are not limited to, client and operational requirements gathering, prototyping, solution roadmap development, project/resource planning, backlog management, budget and financial projections for the platform’s life cycle, supporting the delivery of fully realized capabilities to the business and responsibility for the iterative advancement of software and/or hardware technologies. This individual will perform in an Agile development environment, working with business leaders, R&D engineers, internal stakeholders, external customers, modality directors and/or experts, user experience designers, marketing teams, and/or software engineers to ensure that developed solutions and capabilities meet customer and stakeholder needs. The role will play a key part in efforts to standardize and optimize the delivery of TRIMEDX’s Clinical Asset Management Solutions.


  • Establishes and develops the product strategy and roadmap for TRIMEDX’ Clinical Asset Management Solutions based on the requirements and needs of clients; key areas of focus will include gaining operational efficiencies, data collection and integrity, user experience, data integrations, and workflows/integrations with existing TRIMEDX’s applications.
  • Determines roadmaps, action plans and manages a backlog of capabilities and features.
  • For new releases, develops value proposition communications to the business for incorporation into existing and new customer sales.
  • Researches, generates and develops recommendations for state-of-the-art technology advancements, capabilities, features and innovative solutions.
  • Stays abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, market trends and competitive capabilities.
  • Develops detailed strategies plans for future capabilities based on the backlog and R&D pipeline.
  • Translates complex technology and solutions concepts into clear, digestible business appropriate language; creates images, graphics or charts that provide exceptional clarity for or add impact to otherwise complex material and packages presentations concisely leadership.
  • Creates and fosters an environment of innovation; removes roadblocks and enables strategic risk taking; advocates and drives change management and adoption of behaviors and practices across the enterprise.
  • Partners with Field Operations to ensure the product is optimized and delivered to operations; identifying new solution needs, capabilities and requirements in the process.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction within the scope of responsibilities as normally measured and reported on through customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Work with the team to continuously drive improvements and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Work with other business units to ensure that developed/recommended policies and procedures are communicated to all personnel and that compliance is enforced.
  • Provide training and mentoring as needed.
  • Brief the leadership team(s) on statuses and risks, including taking the role of champion for the overall strategy and any necessary financials/budgets.
  • Clearly communicate best practices, roadblocks, timelines and/or risks to all parts of the business as appropriate.
  • Attend operational QBRs and other meetings to engage with field leadership and collect needs.
  • Attend industry conferences, seminars and other events related to the clinical engineering, broader healthcare and/or software development space, as related to the development of solutions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or clinical related field. Post graduate degree preferred.
  • This role consists of travel of up to 10% or approximately 2 business days per month.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Strategy, and/or Product Management.
  • Experience in medical devices and/or the broader healthcare industry. Experience within Clinical Engineering or the Management of Clinical Assets is preferred.
  • Ability to deduce market needs from key trends within industry or markets.
  • Formal technical product management and/or development experience preferred.
  • Experience with hospital operations and decision-making processes.
  • Specific knowledge of clinical engineering and/or medical device service management preferred.
  • Understanding of Agile development and software design processes.
  • Experience with business, financial and project investment planning.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Previous experience in working with and presenting complex concepts.
  • Experience coordinating and managing the work of others.
  • Experience in customer engagement, with a strong focus on the ability to conduct VOC.
  • Strategic agility, structured thinking, intellectual curiosity and ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights.
  • Self-starter that is comfortable taking initiative.
  • Proven track record for leading with a collaborative approach
  • Familiarity and comfort functioning in a matrixed organizational environment and the ability to work successfully cross-functionally
  • Ability to deal well in an ambiguous environment while remaining productive and execution oriented
