The Inventory Supervisor will manage the Validation Tech Plus One team and Inventory Analyst and oversee all new and existing customer inventory validations.  Duties include, but are not limited to, inventory projects at new or existing customer sites, validation and inspection of clinical equipment for completeness, mechanical and electrical safety, and proper operation.  Additionally, the Supervisor will be challenged to continuously improve upon solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of the field and our client.


Leadership (50%)

  • Coach and mentor team by providing feedback on performance and documentation habits
  • Develop others to continuously achieve long and short-term business results
  • Lead regular team meetings
  • Apply knowledge and experience of regulatory compliance activities to supervise team and provide direction to others
  • Motivate others through praise and recognition
  • Manage personnel by staffing and scheduling Tech Plus One’s in a manner that assures all validation deliverables are met
  • Interview and select talent for program; work with talent acquisition on readiness and placement

Validation & Clinical Engineering Field Support (40%)

  • Lead new site inventory validation trips at customer site
  • Lead TriMedx process for matching & tagging medical equipment at new customer site
  • Manage resources that will provide temporary coverage at sites with resource strains
  • Manage temporary support to sites for PA’s, special projects, etc.
  • Manage temporary coverage during RSQ training at new sites
  • Lead inventory validation for scope expansion projects
  • Participate on inventory audit teams to existing TriMedx sites

Report Generation (10%)

  • All reports required to support internal stakeholders post-inventory validation including but not limited to
  • Commercial Operations Reports
  • Inventory and CNL Reports
  • Data Management Reports




  • Strong management skills and action orientation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hospital and medical equipment industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of processes and procedures related to equipment service management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Joint Commission and other equipment-related regulations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office and service management software
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; Access skills desired
  • Ability to work both solo and in a collaborative team format
  • Ability to create and manage a project plan and a project team
  • High attention to detail with strong drive for accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects
  • Ability to build, establish, and manage collaborative relationships
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills
  • Medical equipment knowledge desired


Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s in relevant field of study such as (but not limited to) engineering, biomedical technology, or information technology is preferred
  • At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred
  • Strong understanding of implementation and validation process is required
  • Previous experience with continuous improvement, lean, or six sigma initiatives
  • Excel, Access, and MS Office experience required
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of time
