Overview

The Validation Supervisor will manage the Validation Tech Plus One team and oversee all new and existing customer inventory validations.  Duties include, but are not limited to, inventory projects at new or existing customer sites, validation and inspection of clinical equipment for completeness, mechanical and electrical safety, and proper operation.  Additionally, the Supervisor will be challenged to continuously improve upon solutions to meet the ever changing needs of the field and our client. 

Responsibilities

Leadership (50%)

  • Coach and mentor team by providing feedback on performance and documentation habits
  • Develop others to continuously achieve long and short term business results
  • Lead regular team meetings
  • Apply knowledge and experience of regulatory compliance activities to supervise team and provide direction to others
  • Motivate others through praise and recognition
  • Manage personnel by staffing and scheduling Tech Plus One’s  in a manner that assures all validation deliverables are met
  • Interview and select talent for program; work with talent acquisition on readiness and placement

Validations & Clinical Engineering Field Support (40%)

  • Attend new site inventory validation trips at customer site
  • Lead TriMedx process for matching & tagging medical equipment at new customer site
  • Manage resources that will provide temporary coverage at sites with resource strains
  • Manage temporary support to sites for PA’s, special projects, etc.
  • Manage temporary coverage during RSQ training at new sites
  • Assist with inventory validation for scope expansion projects
  • Participate on inventory audit teams to existing TriMedx sites

Report Generation (10%)

  •  All reports required to support downstream post inventory validation such as but not limited to
    • BDS Reports
    • Operations Reports on Inventory and CNLs
    • Data Management Reports

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  •  BA/BS in relevant field of study such as (but not limited to) engineering, biomedical technology, or information technology is preferred
  • At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred
  • Strong understanding of implementation and validation process is required
  • Excel, Access, and MS Office experience required

Knowledge

  •  Must be able to travel for inventory validations as needed (up to 75% travel to include overnights)
  •  Strong communication and customer service skills
