The Project Manager is responsible for leading, advising, overseeing, and managing the execution of Project Management activities for multi-entity or enterprise-wide projects to achieve the organization’s administrative, business, financial, and technical goals and objectives.  The Project Manager will oversee vendor project managers in the execution of medium and large project activities.  The PM coaches and mentors project team members through the details of all project phases (project initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing).  The PM will be responsible for the development and ownership of project management related documentation (scope, schedule, cost, quality, issues and risks, etc.) and setup and use of project management tools for medium and large projects.


  • Provide leadership, oversight, delegation, and coordination to the various customers and subject matter experts that are providing services to the project (Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Legal, Quality, etc.).
  • Manage work with all matrixed members of the team daily and is responsible for interfacing with functional managers of team members, regarding placement, development and conflict resolution.
  • Assure that the Project Plans, all appropriate reports, and reporting means are developed and managed per the PMO standards.
  • Plan the project(s) assigned to, including scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality aspect of the project.
  • Drive the process of project planning including scope definition, budget and time estimating, schedule formation and monitoring, cost control measures, procurement/contracting strategies as needed, equipment selection, vendor selection, start-up and commissioning plans, and integration processes.
  • Establish and maintain communications among all project/programs stakeholders.
  • Structure, lead, and/or assist in leading all project related meetings and reports required to ensure open communication between all team members, key stakeholders, and management (weekly project meetings, monthly project reviews, kickoff meetings, weekly reports, monthly reports, etc.) and to properly report project status.
  • Share tools, learnings, expertise in manner consistent with corporate leadership and the Project Management Office.


  • Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 3 years of project management experience OR 6+ years of project management experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience leading business (HR, Finance, Operations, etc.) and/or IT related projects required
  • Business background with a strong emphasis on varied Project Management methodologies
  • Strong background in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving
  • Experience with: Risk Management; Leadership Understanding; Oversight management; and Business Management knowledge
  • Strong communications skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organziation
  • Expertise in developing, producing, and understanding project related Scheduling, Budgets, Quality and Risk
  • Strong Computer skills in Microsoft office products
  • Preferred knowledge of Waterfall, Lean and Agile methodologies
  • PMP or related certification/education preferred
  • Travel – 10% (some overnight)
