Overview

The Software Product Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, development, and iteration of TRIMEDX’ RSQM software platform (a cloud-based clinical equipment inventory and maintenance management software solution) based on identified needs of the enterprise.  Activities include, but are not limited to, client and operational requirements gathering, prototyping, solution roadmap development, project/resource planning, backlog management, budget and financial projections for solution life cycles, supporting the delivery of fully realized capabilities to the business, and the ongoing iterative development of the RSQM Platform. This individual will perform in an Agile development environment, working with business leaders, Continuous Improvement, Client Services, internal stakeholders, external customers, product specialists, user experience designers, marketing teams, and/or software engineers to ensure that developed solutions and capabilities meet customer and stakeholder needs. The leadership role will play a key part in efforts to standardize the delivery of TRIMEDX’ core Clinical Engineering operations and data solutions through this critical software platform and its capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop the product solution strategy and roadmap for the TRIMEDX Clinical Engineering RSQM software platform based on the requirements and needs of field operations and/or clients; key areas of focus will include operational efficiencies, data collection and integrity, mobility, user experience, data integrations, client portals/dashboards and workflows/integrations spanning all areas of the business
  • Understand and manage the overarching framework and mapping of data and workflow integrations into/out of RSQM as it relates to the product roadmap and backlog
  • For new releases, develop value proposition communications to the business for incorporation into existing and new customer sales
  • Researche, generate and develop recommendations for state-of-the-art technology solutions, capabilities, features and innovative solutions to improve business and field operational execution
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, market trends and competitive capabilities
  • Translates complex technology and solutions concepts into clear, digestible, business appropriate language; create images, graphics, or charts that provide exceptional clarity for or add impact to otherwise complex material and packages presentations concisely leadership
  • Charged with delivery of completed solutions, capabilities, and features to ensure standardized, structured, and successful implementation with operations and/or across the enterprise
  • Responsible for beta site identification, development, planning, and management
  • Accountable for monitoring business requirement definitions, staffing model development, central support integration strategies and planning, and the definition of success metrics.
  • Create and foster an environment of innovation; remove roadblocks and enable strategic risk taking; advocate and drive change management and adoption of behaviors and practices
  • Partner with field leadership to ensure product solutions are optimized and delivered to customer programs; identify new solution needs, capabilities and requirements in the process
  • Work with teams to continuously drive improvements and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Brief the executive team on statuses and risks, including taking the role of champion for the overall strategy and any necessary financials/budgets
  • Attend operational QBRs and other meetings to engage with field leadership and collect needs
  • Attend customer leadership meetings and new customer engagements in order to understand needs and market drivers
  • Attend industry conferences, seminars and other events related to the clinical engineering and/or software development space, as related to the development of the RSQM Platform

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of software product development experience required; specific knowledge of healthcare, clinical engineering and/or medical device service management software preferred
  • Direct knowledge of and/or experience with ServiceNow preferred
  • Experience with both web and mobile application product management
  • Understanding of Agile development and software design processes
  • Demonstrated results in the management of software product development
  • A track record of managing, leading, developing and growing enterprise product capabilities and offerings
  • Experience with business, financial and project investment planning; understanding of developing and managing pricing, revenue and expense budgets required
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Previous experience in working with and presenting complex concepts to senior executives
  • Experience coordinating and managing the work of others
  • Aware of key service IT and Security industry trends
  • Capability to identify, develop and serve all clients to the highest level of satisfaction
  • Ability and experience to develop, track, and manage metrics to ensure compliance and performance to expectation
  • Competence with business and strategy development processes including technical solutions, marketing/communication, sales, and business relationship management strongly preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications required; including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and Outlook
