The Proposal Specialist coordinates all phases of the company's proposal process & commercial sales support. The Proposal Specialist coordinates the development of the proposal strategy and provides direction and ongoing feedback to the proposal team to deliver proposals to customers. Additionally, this role is responsible for preparing content for proposals and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for current and potential customers. This position will work with key stakeholders to develop sections of the proposal including corporate and executive summaries, engagement approaches and methodologies, resource descriptions, price models, etc. to shape and deliver the document. This individual may interview and work directly with subject matter experts, program managers, and the Business Development teams to collect, tailor, and translate content. This individual is responsible for editing and copying content, along with rewriting text to ensure clarity and consistency in approach and compliance to the RFP/RFI requirements and process.


· Responsible for keeping the proposal library up to date
· Coordinate internal reviews and edits
· Ensuring compliance with brand standards
· Content and graphic development edits
· Proofing
· Develop proposal response timeline schedules
· Apply expertise to help develop win strategies, themes, and discriminators, and guide their incorporation into proposal
· Full responsibility for timely completion and submittal of complex government proposals and bid preparations
· Analyze RFP requirements and compliance to understand Business Development strategy and pricing
· Interview and collaborate with SMEs and other stakeholders to elicit and develop appropriate proposal and RFP response content
· Write, edit, collect, and coordinate content for RFP's; own assigned proposals from beginning to completion
· Manage, create, and update RFP content library and create automated reports that track wins/losses/WIP to increase efficiencies and share with executive management
· Work closely with the Business Development teams to ensure they can exploit all sales opportunities
· Create and track new opportunity summary sheets to include customer data mining
· Manage and track the commercial growth of TriMedx Field Service Model (FSM) and alignment with all internal/external support functions
· Recommend RFP process improvements and communicate and train others on these processes. This includes identification and correction of root causes and their impacts


Education and Work Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required

· 3+ years relevant work experience in Marketing, Business Development, or Sales capacity

· Minimum 2 years of experience with proposal development

· Project management skills including coordination, communication, and adherence to budget and completion goals, prioritization and troubleshooting

· Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Power Point/Word/Excel/Visio)

· Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite



· Ability to build quick rapport and credibility with all levels of personnel including healthcare executives and leadership

· Ability to independently define, schedule, and manage the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze the details of an RFP, RFI or RFQ

· Ability to adhere to proposal and RFP response deadlines

· Ability to gather and analyze information and implement solutions

· Ability to work & lead in a fast paced, high pressure team environment
