Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the development of clinical engineering programs for healthcare facilities based on specific client business needs, sales, and operational strategies.  This position is responsible for accurate and timely documentation of program analytics including performance of client financial, inventory, labor, and service contract assessments, and completing the costing and pricing of the new service programs.  The Senior Financial Analyst routinely communicates with financial leaders to obtain financial data and determine current expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the market for medical equipment
  • Develop a clear understanding of the utilization of medical devices
  • Maintain up to date inventory/fleet adjustments for each assigned program
  • Research and develop a deep understanding of the cost accounting behind program processes
  • Perform costing and pricing of new service programs
  • Analyze data from a matrix environment; Translate limited data to meaningful analysis with risk taken into account
  • Understand customers accounting operations to ensure complete data capture
  • Present data in a concise and logical format
  • Find unique solutions to roadblocks throughout the program development process
  • Continuous improvement of program processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field required
  • Minimum 10 years’ finance experience (FP&A, G/L, forensics, etc.)
  • Experience performing financial analysis and assessments
  • Understanding of accounting and general ledgers
  • Ability to navigate through massive amounts of data and provide concise information to Director
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; strong Database skills preferred
  • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects
  • Ability to build, establish, and manage collaborative relationships with customers
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to organize and efficiently analyze multiple sets of data
  • Experience in service or manufacturing industry a plus
