Overview

The Finance Operations Business Partner serves as a finance and strategic business partner to an assigned Divisional VP and their Directors.  This position is responsible for managing the annual budget process for the division as well as forecasting and providing monthly variance analysis.  In addition, this position will interpret the data to identify opportunities to drive action to obtain business objectives.  The Finance Operations BP will be intimately involved in TriMedx operations for their division and work closely with FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, HR, and other Finance Operations BPs to ensure best practices and consistencies across the organization.  This role will also serve as the financial lead for projects and other activities related to growth strategies within their division.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for assigned TriMedx division
  • Support the Divisional VP and their Directors by providing operational financial data and identify opportunities to drive action
  • Collaborate with departments to collect data, identify root causes for monthly variances, and/or upcoming initiatives and their budgetary impacts on the division
  • Lead the annual budget process for the division
  • Conduct forecasting and monthly variance analysis
  • Work with accounting for accruals for division
  • Participate on projects related to growth strategies
  • Attend quarterly divisional meetings and ad hoc meetings as required
  • Collaborate with other Finance Operations Business Partners to ensure best practices and consistencies across TriMedx
  • Develop and produce reports to measure the effectiveness of improvement processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field is required; masters preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of two years of FP&A experience
  • Solid understanding of financial analysis and general accounting practices
  • Ability to digest data and identify opportunities to drive action
  • Understanding of business operations and the "Business Partner" concept
  • Excellent analytical skills required
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 15%)
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Self-Motivated
