The Training Specialist provides training for new customers, new technicians and managers, or additional training for existing customers on the TRIMEDX clinical engineering maintenance and inventory system known as RSQM, run on the ServiceNow cloud platform.  This training will be delivered in classroom settings, field-based medical environments and webinars.  Additional responsibilities include managing project plans, collecting and assisting with training content, design and development, establishing relationships with other internal stakeholders and departments, and delivering training on RSQM and other business systems enhancements.  Additionally, this position requires frequent interaction with operational and compliance management and potentially require up to 50% travel.


  • Facilitate classroom and web based learning on business systems for field associates and customer implementations
  • Work with operations leadership to establish and/or modify training objectives
  • Gather feedback on training effectiveness to identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities
  • Lead regular training schedules monthly to ensure training opportunities meet the needs and demands of operations
  • Assist with technician assessments, develop action plans, and deliver remedial training
  • Utilize system reports to identify incorrect patterns of system use by technicians; use this data and partner with operations leadership to develop training plans
  • Assist with the development and enhancements to training content based on IT development, Policies and Procedures and field feedback
  • Build relationships with other internal departments that are dependent on training results and outcomes
  • Assist with content development and training delivery for business systems enhancements
  • Participate in IT development Agile sprints, requirements gathering, and feature prioritization meetings
  • Lead or participate in key initiative projects as defined by Manager of Talent Development


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering software/application training; healthcare, database or technical systems or services industry preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training delivery or program facilitation
  • Ability to create and manage a project plan; Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required including Access, Visio, Project, Word, and Excel; Adobe experience helpful
  • Ability to work independent of supervision 
  • Ability to establish and manage relationships
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer software
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills 
  • Ability to demonstrate confidence and inspire/motivate others to perform well
  • Experience with web-based conferencing such as Adobe Connect, WebEx or GoToMeeting
  • Experience with educational multimedia production software such as Articluate360, GoAnimate and Camtasia
  • Experience with Instructional Design preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time required
