This role serves as a client resource to support our Asset Informatics & Planning Services.  The Capital Planning Analyst compiles data and analyses which support the development and maintenance of a multi-year clinical asset lifecycle management plan for the organization.  The Analyst leverages TRIMEDX’s proprietary capital planning informatics suite (RSQ Analytics, Fleet Informatics) and associated national benchmarking data to compile asset inventory trends, asset composition and asset performance data into analyses which support CAPEX and OPEX cost reduction initiatives for our client.


  • Improves client RSQ inventory data accuracy and completeness (install dates, make/model, service history, physical location)
  • Develops and maintains asset fleet plans designed to support multi-year replacement planning and cost optimization
  • Works with department leaders and available sources of data to profile asset utilization needed to support capital planning decisions
  • Provides research support to help client leaders evaluate capital equipment purchasing and replacement decisions
  • Tracks and reports the financial and operational benefits achieved from completed initiatives
  • Conducts research to support asset technology evaluations and cost/benefit analyses
  • Uses analytical interpretive/evaluative thinking to understand different situations


Education and Work Experience

  • Required:
    • 3 + years of experience in a business analyst role
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business-related field
  • Preferred:
    • 2 + years of work experience in a healthcare services or healthcare manufacturing organization
    • MBA or Master’s degree
    • Experience in Lean/Six-Sigma process improvement


  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to prepare analyses in support of business objectives
