Overview

This role serves as a client resource to facilitate the delivery of our Asset Informatics & Planning Services.  The Specialist works closely with our Clinical Engineering team and client leaders to facilitate and support the development of a multi-year clinical asset lifecycle management plan for the organization.  This leader serves as a central resource for the organization by developing an intimate familiarity with the organization’s clinical asset footprint, overall lifecycle status and associated risks and opportunities.  The Specialist facilitates client use of TRIMEDX’s proprietary capital planning informatics suite (RSQ Analytics, Fleet Informatics) and associated national benchmarking data to evaluate asset inventory trends, asset composition and asset performance to identify opportunities for OPEX and CAPEX cost optimization, improved organizational performance and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and leads mutually-defined client capital asset management cost optimization initiatives
  • Provides analytics and project management support for client initiatives
  • Tracks and reports the financial and operational benefits achieved from completed initiatives
  • Works with department and service line leaders to develop a detailed map of mission-critical assets and maintains up-to-date lifecycle status insights
  • Works with client leaders to establish the TRIMEDX RSQ and RSQ Analytics applications as the single “source of truth” for the enterprise’s clinical asset inventory and associated asset performance data
  • Trains client leaders on the use of TRIMEDX RSQ Analytics and Fleet Informatics tools which provide insight and visibility into TRIMEDX’s clinical engineering activities and performance, asset status and performance, and asset
  • inventory dynamics (asset additions, deletions, composition)
  • Supports the development and maintenance of a multi-year asset lifecycle management plan and associated up-to-date service line, facility, department and category-specific asset replacement ranking priorities using proprietary
  • TRIMEDX tools and benchmarking data
  • Supports client CAPEX budgeting processes and CAPEX deployment prioritization decisions
  • Conducts research to support asset technology evaluations and cost/benefit analyses
  • Works with client leaders to identify opportunities for asset retirements and redeployments to optimize OPEX costs, preserve CAPEX and support organizational growth
  • Develops high-touch and high-trust relationship with client leaders
  • Facilitates organizational communications regarding clinical asset lifecycle issues and makes connections between stakeholders needed to raise awareness, complete needed trouble-shooting and facilitate timely resolution of issues
  • Responsible for the delivery of excellence in quality and service levels
  • Identifies trends of escalated issues or recurring problems and develops improved cross- functional processes to resolve those problems

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience


Required:

  • 5 + years of experience in healthcare services delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business-related field

Preferred:

  • 3 + years of leadership experience in an acute-care hospital environment
  • MBA, Masters or advanced healthcare degree
  • Advanced training in Lean/Six-Sigma process improvement

  • Understanding of technology trends and directions
