Overview

Plan and coordinate the Clinical Engineering Services (CES) operationalization of Strategic Supplier Relationship (SSR) Team and The Resource Group negotiated Master Service Agreements (MSA) to deliver operational cost reductions and efficiencies.  Collaborate internally with multiple functional areas and externally with Original Equipment Manufacturers business and sales leaders to ensure negotiated entitlements are leveraged in support of TRIMEDX field operations. Provide consistent focus and visibility across the organization on MSA implementation statuses, compliance levels, and outcomes.  Support financial and operational objectives by serving as the CES expert on MSA entitlements.  Handle the escalation of service issues to facilitate communications, resolve the matter at hand, and identify improvements in processes.

Responsibilities

MSA Supplier Coordination - 60%

  • Coordinate with Strategic Supplier Relationship (SSR) Team representatives on:
  • Hand-off processes between SSR and Clinical Engineering Services (CES).
  • Review of entitlements and eligibility requirements.
  • Introduction meetings with key supplier representatives as needed.
  • Participate in kick-off meetings with primary stakeholders for key agreements.
  • Develop communication plans and tools to educate CES personnel on the eligibility and application of MSA entitlements.
  • Schedule and lead routine operational meetings with supplier representatives and CES leadership.
  • Collaborate with Central Office (CO) functional areas to report on MSA savings and compliance.
  • Support the operations team by serving as a single point of contact for escalated service issues.
  • Explore opportunities for value adds and relationship expansion.

 

Internal Business Processes – 40%

  • Coordinate with internal CO functional areas and teams to ensure MSA entitlements are leveraged in business processes.
  • Coordinate with technical training representatives on training eligibility, availability of pre-negotiated training agreements, and supplier training capabilities.
  • Partner with TRIMEDX legal, supplier representatives, service contract teams, service strategy team, and finance to support migration of existing service agreements to the new MSA terms and conditions as appropriate.
  • Support service strategy and contract team representatives to ensure MSA entitlements, limitations, and exclusions are understood and integrated into contract review, approval, and execution processes for new contracts.
  • Incorporate MSA entitlements and contractual obligations into demand service operations. Lead evaluation and studies of entitlements to ensure their impact is fully understood and leveraged. Account for contractual limitations and exclusions. Integrate into the Demand Services Solutions application where appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Finance to gain alignment on the impact of the MSA to their operations. Confirm parts ordering and invoice management processes have been put into place to support operations.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Associates degree is required; bachelor’s degree highly desired with 3 years of experience in business operations
  • Experience with operational application of legal contracts preferred
  • Experience with project management processes and tools preferred
  • Travel – 10% (overnight)

 

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of medical and clinical engineering terminology preferred
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or medical equipment industry preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members
  • Interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time amidst multiple projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an acute attention to detail
